Is the Mahdi / Anti-Christ alive in the World today?

Most people who don’t understand or study end-time prophesy or eschatology may have heard of the anti-Christ or the 12 Imam and expect this person to come on the world scene in a red suit, horns and a pitch fork,  however that is quite the opposite. Both the Bible and the Koran says that the  Anti-Christ / Mahdi (which I believe are one and the same.  Two perspectives of the same person) will come to bring peace to the Earth through a 7 year peace agreement with Israel and her neighbors.  The world will marvel at him, he will deceive the world.  It will not be until the middle of the 7 years his real persona of evil will be revealed.  I say all this because I believe this person is alive today.  To read this person’s bio you will think , no this person has so many accomplishments and he support peace, he’s trying to bring religions together….. But this is how the Anti-Christ / Mahdi elevates to the most powerful man on Earth during the coming world crisis.  The  Jews are looking for their Messiah, Christians are anticipating the 2nd Coming of Christ and the President  Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, member of the Muslim sect Twelvers is expecting the Mahdi or 12th Imam.  Even those who are not of the 3 monotheistic religions are sensing something big is about to happen.

If we look at what is going on in the world… with the Globalism, Environmentalism, UN Agenda, Occupy Wall Street, Arab Spring, Radical Islam Caliphate, the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, Nuclear Iran, Syrian revolts all coming to a climax…. There is one man that has the ability and credibility to come to the “rescue” of the world.  That is Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan. 

 

 

I believe there is one man who is on the Earth today that meets all the criteria for the Islamic Mahdi or 12 Imam and the Christian Anti-Christ.

We can also assume that since Jesus is viewed as having been empowered by Allah to work miracles when he was here on earth the first time, he will most likely be expected to continue to do so when he returns.

· Bible: The Antichrist is described as riding on a white horse in the Book of Revelation

· Islam: The Mahdi is described as riding on a white horse (ironically from the same verse).

· Bible: The Antichrist is said to make a peace treaty with Israel for seven years. 

· Islam: The Mahdi is said to make a peace treaty through a Jew (specifically a Levite) for exactly seven years.

· Bible: Jesus the Jewish Messiah will return to defend the Jews in Israel from a military attack from a vast coalition of nations led by the Antichrist and the False Prophet. 

· Islam: The Dajjal, the Islamic Antichrist will gain a great Jewish following and claim to be Jesus Christ and fight against the Mahdi and the Muslim Jesus.

· Bible: The antichrist spirit specifically denies the most unique and central doctrines of Christianity, namely the trinity, the incarnation and the substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross.

· Islam: Islam doctrinally and spiritually specifically denies the most unique and central doctrines of Christianity, namely the trinity, the incarnation and the substitutionary death of Jesus on the cross.

· Bible: The primary warning of Jesus and the Apostle Paul was to warn Christians of the abundance of deceit and deception in the last-days. 

· Islam: Islam is perhaps the only religion in the earth that practices deceit as one of its tools to assist its own ascendancy. It actually has a specific doctrine which allows and even calls for deception to be used to achieve its desired end.

· Bible: The specific nations pictured in the Bible as being part of the final empire of the Antichrist are all Islamic nations. 

· Islam: All Muslims are commanded to give their allegiance to The Mahdi as the final Caliph and Imam (leader) of Islam.

· Bible: From the Bible and History we learn that the final Antichrist empire will be a revived version of the Empire that succeeds the Roman Empire

· Islam: The Empire that succeeded the Roman/Byzantine Empire was the Islamic Ottoman Empire

· Bible: When Antichrist emerges, there will already be some form of system in place that will be poised to receive him as a Savior and to give allegiance to him. 

· Islam is already the second largest religion and will at present growth rates become the largest religion within a few decades. Islam is awaiting the coming of the Mahdi with a universal anticipation.

 

According to the Hadith the criteria for the Hidden Imam are:

• He will be a descendant of Muhammad and the son of Fatima
• Will have a broad forehead and pointed nose
• Will return just before the end of the world
• His appearance will be preceded by a number of prophetic events during 3 years of horrendous world chaos, tyranny and oppression
• Will escape from Madina to Mekkah, thousands will pledge allegiance to him
• Will rule over the Arabs and the world for 7 years
• Will eradicate all tyranny and oppression bringing harmony and total peace
• Will lead a prayer in Mekkah which Jesus will be at his side and follow in

Just a side note to my writing.  I just ran across this article about the building of the tallest building in the world.  It made me think of the tower of Babel….  As I was writing this article I thought,  is it a coincident that the Bin Ladin Group is funding the creating of the World’s tallest building called the Kingdom Tower located in Kingdom City at the gateway to the holy city Mecca.  Interestingly enough it was a Chicago-based architecture firm  Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill who designed the structure who are very connected to the green movement and the Clinton Global Climate Initiative.
